I don't know about you guys, but while it was great to do a lot of nothing over Thanksgiving break, I'm ready to get back into the swing of things and see you all! We're in the final stretch of the semester; stay calm and come de-stress with us this week. 

We open the week with Purpose Groups on Monday at 6:30 p.m. We'll meet at the CCSC to carpool at 6:15 p.m. Freshmen and sophomores will be going to Neil and Katie's. Juniors and seniors will be going to Craig and Jessica's. Purpose Groups are a great way to meet new people and form new bonds in a relaxing environment. 

Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Midweek. Preston Conder will be leading us in part two of our series dedicated to the incarnation of Jesus. Become less so that others can know God more. 

Sunday at 9 a.m. we will meet for college bible class and service at West Side Church of Christ, which is located at 2300 West C Street in Russellville. If you'd like to join, just let one of us know and we'd be happy to give you a ride!

Sunday at 5 p.m. are Share Groups. These are groups that include CCSC students and members of West Side. We leave from the CCSC at 4:50 p.m. to go to Share Groups. Anyone is invited, so join us if you would like to check it out. 

As the semester comes to an end and studying is at an all-time high, don't forget that the CCSC is open every weekday and most weekends until 10:30 p.m. and makes a great place to study! Finish strong, everyone!

Here's some scripture from Psalms that some of you may have heard Josh Clem speak at West Side on Sunday. I think it's beautiful and it helps open my eyes to all I have to be thankful for. I pray it can help you all in a similar way.

​The CCSC is here to help students live with purpose, and we believe that life with Jesus is the only life with purpose. In order to help students live with purpose we must help them come to know Jesus.

Your friends need your help to take the next step toward Jesus.

Inviting a friend to Midweek could change their life forever. This week help one friend take one step closer to Jesus.

Here’s what I want you to do: invite one friend.

When we talk to people, we are showing them that we care about them.

To help students live with purpose we first have to care about them.

In order to show students we care about them, we need to talk to them. Don't wait for someone to talk to you. Go talk to someone. Show them you care.

Here’s what I want you to do: talk to new people.

Invite one friend. Come early. Talk to new people.

If we all invite one friend, come early, and talk to new people, there could be over 150 students praising God and reading the scriptures, there will be new friendships that form, and people will feel loved and cared for.

This could be the week that you help someone live with purpose!
