Hey everyone! After a great weekend with CHRISTeens, we're back at the CCSC with a week full of events.
First off, Monday at 6:30 p.m. is the Purpose Group for Juniors and Seniors. They will be going to Craig and Jessica's. Meet at the CCSC at 6:15 p.m. to carpool. Purpose Groups are a great way to meet new people and form new bonds in a relaxing environment. Free Meal is this week! Join us at noon on Wednesday for a free lunch. Everyone is invited! Next is Midweek on Wednesday at 7 p.m. where we'll worship an awesome God together. Corey Harrison will lead us this week. On Thursday at 6:30, the freshmen and sophomores will have Purpose Groups. We'll meet in the CCSC at 6:15 to pray and head over to Doc Bryan for a movie night. Sunday at 9 a.m. we will meet for college bible class and service at West Side Church of Christ, which is located at 2300 West C Street in Russellville. If you'd like to join, just let one of us know and we'd be happy to give you a ride! Sunday at 5 p.m. are Share Groups. These are groups that include CCSC students and members of West Side. We leave from the CCSC at 4:50 p.m. to go to Share Groups. Anyone is invited, so join us if you would like to check it out. Spring break is starting to creep around. Hey everyone! After a one week hiatus, the CCSC weekly update is back and quite possibly better than ever. If you have not heard the news yet, our campus minister and dear friend, Neil Reynolds, just released a book about campus ministry! From neilreynolds.org: "College ministry is one of three reasons I'm a Christ follower today. In this new book, Neil practically lays out a blueprint for communities of faith passionate in connecting to the emerging generation. You and your church will be more equipped after you engage this book. Dr. Josh Graves, Lead Minister, Otter Creek Church" For more information about Neil's book, including how to purchase it, click here! If you're unfamiliar with CHRISTeens, you can expect "passionate worship," "impactful teaching," and "raucous fun." CHRISTeens will run through the entire weekend, with the final session taking place at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
