3 Things You Can Do for Midweek

11/1/2016

This Wednesday we are doing something crazy. For the first time in CCSC history Midweek is coming to campus!

We're meeting
this Wednesday at 7:00 PM in Young Ballroom.

We're changing our location this week because we want to remove any potential barriers to helping more students live with purpose. Instead of students having to walk all the way across campus to a building they have never been in, we are going to be worshiping God right in the heart of campus!

Because this week is so important we need to be more intentional than ever. Here are three things we all need to do together this week in preparation for Midweek...

1. Invite One Friend

The CCSC is here to help students live with purpose, and we believe that life with Jesus is the only life with purpose. In order to help students live with purpose we must help them come to know Jesus.

Your friends need your help to take the next step toward Jesus.

Inviting a friend to Midweek could change their life forever. This week help one friend take one step closer to Jesus.

Here’s what I want you to do: invite one friend.

2. Come Early

Relationships are the key to helping students live with purpose. We will only have a short time to welcome students and to connect with them.

In order to connect with new people, we need to come early.

Midweek starts at 7:00, but come early this week! Arrive at Young Ballroom by
6:45 (that means start walking from your room around 6:30).

Here’s what I want you to do: get to Young Ballroom by
6:45.

3. Talk to New People

When we talk to people, we are showing them that we care about them.

To help students live with purpose we first have to care about them.

In order to show students we care about them, we need to talk to them. Don't wait for someone to talk to you. Go talk to someone. Show them you care.

Here’s what I want you to do: talk to new people.

Invite one friend. Come early. Talk to new people.

If we all invite one friend, come early, and talk to new people, there could be over 150 students praising God and reading the scriptures, there will be new friendships that form, and people will feel loved and cared for.

This could be the week that you help someone live with purpose!
