Monday night, are Small Groups! We will be in contact through text and social media as to when and where these will take place. Small Groups are a time where we grow closer to God and each other. This semester we will be reading through books together. The guys will read through "Killing Lions," by John Eldredge and the ladies will read through "Hello, Beauty Full," by Elisa Morgan. When we aren't meeting and discussing our books together, we will be partaking in service projects and other activities. It's not too late to sign up for Small Groups, just click here! Next is Midweek on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Be sure to invite a friend! Jake Greer will be bringing the message as we continue our trek through Hebrews. On Friday, we will be leaving for Guys Retreat and Girls Retreat! We'll be in touch with you all about the nuts and bolts about what time and what to bring later this week, but for now, just expect to leave sometime on Friday after classes! Blessings, Jake Hello my friends! I hope you all had a great, relaxing Fall Break. The weather is cooling off, which is a good sign that the semester is in the home stretch. There's a lot of news and things going on this week at the CCSC, so let's get into it...
First and foremost, Gulf Coast Getaway signups have opened! GCG will be one of the highlights of your entire year, I guarantee it. You gotta go! Click here for more information and to sign up for GCG '18 Now let's get into the week... First off, Monday night at 5:45 p.m. we will be going to Monday NIght for the Master at West Side. MNFTM has free food and offers an outlet for the college students to mingle with the members of West Side, all while doing projects to help benefit those in need locally. The Adopt-a-Student meet and greet/snack dinner will be at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, right before a VERY SPECIAL MIDWEEK! WAY BACK WEDNESDAY @ MIDWEEK is at 7 p.m. Dress up in your favorite old school outfit from the 50's, 60's, 70's, or whenever! Girls, be sure to get your hairspray ready and guys, pull out the Tommy Hilfiger! Saturday at 12 p.m. we are tailgating for the Wonder Boys Homecoming game. Join us at the CCSC for games, food and fun! Sunday at 9 a.m. we will meet for college bible class at the Greer's house (201 N. Utah, Russellville). Following class, Sunday at 10 a.m. we will head from the Greer's across the street to Westside Church of Christ (2300 W. C St., Russellville) for service. On Sundays we have Share Groups. These are groups that include CCSC students and members of West Side. It serves as a way to build community and come together with fellow brothers and sisters outside of our normal realm. Group One meets immediately following West Side services, around noon, at Craig and Jessica Davis' home. Group Two meets at 5 p.m. at Camp Caudle (Meets at the CCSC at 4:15 to carpool). Anyone and everyone is invited to join either group, for more information or directions, contact us! And lastly, on Sunday we will be going to the Walter's for a cookout and hayride. Because it isn't October without a church hayride. We're still ironing out the details on when to meet but once we get it known, we'll blast it on social media. It's a busy week, hope to see you guys! -Matthew For the most up-to-date news and happenings, check us out on Facebook and Twitter! Gulf Coast Getaway is a collegiate event for students all across America. At the conference you'll spend three days on Panama City Beach worshipping God, being challenged by His word, and having fun with friends! There is no better way to kick off the Spring 2018 semester than by joining over 1,200 other college students in worship to our God!!!
