Below is a message from our friends at Made in the Streets about their 2015 summer internship.
We are currently accepting online applications for 5 positions on the team. As a group, the team will spend 4 weeks in Kenya, ministering to street kids living in the slums of Nairobi as well as mentoring and encouraging students (former street kids) who have joined our boarding school program and are in the process of completing school and learning valuable job skills. After their stay at MITS, the team of interns will return to the United States to embark on an epic 6-week road trip around the United States, racking up thousands of miles and countless moments of joy as they share the work God is doing through MITS and the stories of the street kids and students they met with churches, youth conferences, and audiences large and small across the South. We are looking for applicants with excellent communication skills, a heart for service, and a sense of adventure.
Online applications are due November 1st. www.madeinthestreets.org/internships
