Thanksgiving break is finally upon us! I don't know about you guys, but I'm really excited for turkey dressing and football this Thursday. Due to the holiday, we are having a short week at the CCSC.
The only thing we have going on are Purpose Groups on Monday at 6:30 p.m. Let's meet at the CCSC to carpool at 6:15 p.m. Freshmen and sophomores will be going to Neil and Katie's. Juniors and seniors are going to Craig and Jessica's. We will be celebrating Thanksgiving, so bring your favorite dish! Here's some scripture from Psalms that some of you may have heard Josh Clem speak at West Side on Sunday. I think it's beautiful and it helps open my eyes to all I have to be thankful for. I pray it can help you all in a similar way. "Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation." -Psalm 100 (NLT). Safe travels and happy Thanksgiving everyone! -Matthew
