CCSC Weekly Update (Oct. 3 - Oct. 9)

October is finally here! Celebrate with your favorite pumpkin spiced delicacy and join us for a fun week at the CCSC! 

Monday at 6:30 p.m. are Purpose Groups. The freshmen and sophomores will have an ice cream bar and games at Neil and Katie's. The juniors and seniors will be having ice cream as well at Craig and Jessica's. If you need a ride, meet at the CCSC at 6:15 and we'll carpool. 

Wednesday at 12 p.m. is free meal! Grab a friend and come to the CCSC for a free lunch. Did I mention it's free?

Following free meal, Midweek will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Corey Harrison is bringing the message this week over injustice. Why do bad things happen to good people, and what does God have to say about that? 

Thursday at 7 p.m. is Freshmen Connect for freshmen and other first year students at Arkansas Tech. This week we'll be playing yard games.

We'll close the week on Sunday at 9 a.m. with our friends at West Side Church of Christ when we meet for college bible class. The bible class takes place right next door to West Side, which is located at 2300 West C Street in Russellville. If you'd like to join, just let one of us know and we'd be happy to give you a ride!

Sunday at 5 p.m. are Share Groups. These are groups that include CCSC students and members of West Side. We leave from the CCSC at 4:50 to go to Share Groups. Anyone is invited, so join us if you would like to check it out. 

Good luck this week everybody! Remember, fall break is just a couple of weeks away, keep pushing!
