Listen, I'm just gonna cut straight to it this week. No flash, no clever introduction. Here's the biggest news you need to know for the week: If you haven't signed up for Fall Retreat yet then quit lolly-gagging and do it already! Click here to do so. You'll be glad you did, I promise.
OK fine, that may not be the biggest news of the week, who am I to judge? Regardless, we have a fun week planned and hope to see you! First off, Monday night, are Small Groups! We will be in contact through text and social media as to when and where these will take place. Small Groups are a time where we grow closer to God and each other. This semester we will be reading through books together. The guys will read through "Killing Lions," by John Eldredge and the ladies will read through "Hello, Beauty Full," by Elisa Morgan. When we aren't meeting and discussing our books together, we will be partaking in service projects and other activities. It's not too late to sign up for Small Groups, just click here! Next is Midweek on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Be sure to invite a friend! Jake Greer will be bringing the message as we continue our trek through Hebrews. Thursday night is Freshmen Connect. This is a group designed for freshmen to come together, meet new people and have fun. Follow us on social media and join our texting list to stay up to date! Sunday at 9 a.m. we will meet for college bible class at the Greer's house (201 N. Utah, Russellville). Following class, Sunday at 10 a.m. we will head from the Greer's across the street to Westside Church of Christ (2300 W. C St., Russellville) for service. On Sundays we have Share Groups. These are groups that include CCSC students and members of West Side. It serves as a way to build community and come together with fellow brothers and sisters outside of our normal realm. Group One meets immediately following West Side services, around noon, at Craig and Jessica Davis' home. Group Two meets at 5 p.m. at Camp Caudle (Meets at the CCSC at 4:15 to carpool). Anyone and everyone is invited to join either group, for more information or directions, contact us! Have a great week everybody! Oh, and shouldn't midterms be starting up soon? -Matthew For the most up-to-date news and happenings, check us out on Facebook and Twitter!
