PRAYER TEAM UPDATE | October 12

This semester has been anything but normal. Still, God is working in many EXCITING ways outside and inside our ministry! Here at Renew we are actively praying and planning for how we can continue to help students follow Jesus on the campus and into the world!

During this unique time on campus, we have had to be flexible in our activites while striving to remain focused on our mission. Our RE-Group times have been spiritually engouraging & fun. We have met weekly for a time of relaxed community and spiritual conversations. This Spring we are launching D-Groups -- gender-specific, relational groups of 3-5 students that meet weekly for a semester for accelerated spiritual transformation. We are excited about this intentional step toward helping students follow Jesus!

We are also excited about Simon and Bridget Everett's new work at Whites Ferry Road Church in West Monroe, LA. Simon is leading their college ministry in reaching the campus at the Univeristy of Louisiana Monroe. In the picture above, Simon and Bridget are being prayed over by some of the leadership at the WFR Church. We can't help but be excited about the Everetts and about this amazing opportunity!

Specific Prayer Requests:

... For strength and encourgement for our staff and leaders as we strive to help students follow Jesus on the campus and into the world.
... For wisdom and discernment as we navigate this season in our ministry
... For our ppcoming D-Group launch! We want D-Groups are going to be the backbone of our ministry. Small groups of students following Jesus together!!!
... For Simon and Bridget's new work at the Univeristy of Louisiana Monroe.

What's a Prayer Team?

Scripture tells us that the earliest Christians were devoted to prayer (Acts 2:42). Throughout history, people of faith have depended on prayer for strength and guidance. We want to have as many people as possible engaged in prayer for the work Renew is doing in Russellville.
